About Us
Over the past few years the world of the indirect sales channel has come a long way. It currently represents a significant portion of many carriers and vendors’ annual sales. With its rapid growth, there are now more challenges to overcome to fully realize its potential. So it is imperative that we act now as an industry, to consolidate our gains and promote our continued success. It requires each of us to anticipate the future, not wait and react when it comes, but rather work to create it. Through our involvement with the TCA, we can all be a part of an initiative to shape and define the way the industry does business.
Established, successful industries are characterized by the existence of an active trade association charged with the betterment of its community and the advocacy of the businesses that operate within it. It’s time for the participants in the indirect sales channel to step up to the challenge of forming such an institution. Such a unified body would represent the interests of agent community and provide indirect sales agents with a unified voice which could be heard at the appropriate levels within the vendor community. It would provide trusted leadership in addressing industry challenges and deliver value-added programs and services to meet the needs of agents and vendors alike. Agents would also benefit from the identification and development of industry wide best practices empowering them to run their businesses more effectively and efficiently.
Such an organization has not existed in our space — until now. The Technology Channel Association (TCA) is a newly formed non-profit organization that will serve as the industry’s first-ever trade association with a mission to promote the growth and success of the indirect sales channel. No one doubts the importance of the indirect sales channel for the industry. Now you can take advantage of a unique opportunity to help strengthen the channel and influence its future development. |
